Key Responsibilities
- Need to Design subsystems by integrating AMD and 3rd party IPs
- Understand the clocking, reset, SoC and top-level topology to connect IPs
- Can collaborate with architect, verification and physical design engineers
- Better understand of SoC power domain requirement and write UPFs
- Can perform quality checks in Lint, CDC, Low power, Timing constraints, LEC for complex designs
- And identify the areas for automation and improve productivity and quality
Preferred Experience
- Proficient in Verilog and SystemVerilog, RTL design flows
- Experience with SoC design flows and version control like Perforce
- Verilog Lint (Spyglass), simulation tools (VCS)
- Hands-on with UPF, CDC, RDC, Timing, LEC
- Scripting knowledge: Python, Perl, TCL, Makefile, Unix shell
- Experience with embedded processors, data fabric architecture (NoC), APB/AXI protocols
- Work with multi-level functional teams across geographies
Educational Qualification:
The candidate must have a B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech in ECE/Electrical Engineering branch with Digital Systems/VLSI as major
