About The Team

Meesho’s Ad Sales Manager / Associate Business Manager is key in helping advertisers achieve their goals. The team work closely with suppliers to increase ad revenue and make sure their advertising spend gives high returns. Based on the available products on platform, team generate demand, handle big accounts, and customize campaigns for suppliers.

The main goal is help suppliers grow business using ads and increase their advertising spend on Meesho. So if you love sales, ads and strategy, this team is perfect for you.

About The Role

We are looking for someone hands on, detail oriented, analytical and highly motivated. Your main focus is to scale ads on Meesho, which is the backbone of our monetisation strategy.

You will also:

  • Help build new ad offerings
  • Improve existing ad features
  • Enhance targeting and shopper engagement
  • Lead account managers to drive advertiser success

What You Will Do

  • Take complete ownership of ad revenue from head sellers
  • Build, train and manage a team of account managers
  • Manage day-to-day ad operations and improve process efficiency
  • Identify supplier problems, discover opportunities and create new advertising solutions
  • Improve existing workflows, run advertiser activation and retention programs
  • Lead, motivate and coach team to deliver business goals
  • Work with team to identify solutions and pilots to improve process efficiency
  • Analyze week-on-week revenue trends to find opportunities for ad adoption
  • Ensure team use advertising tools to capture all customer interactions
  • Build strong seller relationships for better ad experience
  • Coordinate with Product, Analyst, Support and Seller onboarding teams
  • Work schedule: Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday WFH

What You Will Need

  • Minimum 2 years of people management
  • Exposure to e-commerce, sales and advertising
  • Experience in data analysis through work or education
  • Background in sales and marketing is preferred
  • Excellent communication & negotiation skills, professional manner
  • Strong ability to handle objections
  • Desire to work in fast-paced and challenging environment
  • Previous experience in account management or similar roles
  • Advanced computer literacy, especially in MS Office
