NHPC Apprentice Recruitment 2026 notification has been released, in which recruitment has been announced for a total of 182 posts. This recruitment is for Graduate, Diploma and ITI candidates and under this, 1-year Apprenticeship Training will be provided.
NHPC Limited, which is a Navratna company under the Ministry of Power, Government of India, has provided this opportunity across different projects and power stations in the country. Candidates who want to start their career can consider this as a good opportunity, however it is not a permanent job, so this point should be clearly understood.

NHPC Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Stipend (Salary Details)
- Graduate Apprentice: ₹15,000 per month
- Diplofma Apprentice: ₹13,500 per month
- ITI Apprentice: ₹12,000 per month
In addition, an extra benefit of ₹4000 – ₹4500 through DBT is also provided by the Government (under NATS scheme)

NHPC Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
In this recruitment, there will be no written exam or interview. Selection will be completely based on merit.
Merit Calculation:
Graduate Apprentice:
- 10th: 20%
- 12th / Diploma: 20%
- Graduation: 60%
Diploma Apprentice:
- 10th: 30%
- Diploma: 70%
ITI Apprentice:
- 10th: 30%
- ITI: 70%
